Fitness on Friday #15

On Sunday it hit me. I have to take this losing weight thing more seriously. I wish I could join Weight Watchers, but honestly I'm in the boonies and am nowhere near a meeting place. I know they have the online version, but I know myself well enough to know I would fail that way. But I've been weighing myself daily and I'm down 1.4 pounds since Sunday. I've been consciously drinking lots of water. I've been going on walks daily, tonight I walked for 3 miles! I need to get back to the gym, I'm thinking tomorrow. I was doing so well with that before I got sick, but haven't been even once since getting better...and I've been better for a couple weeks now. I've been snacking LOTS less.

My husband and I played the Wii tonight, at least one of my arms will be sore tomorrow. I guess that's a little extra exercise. We should do that more often.

What do you do when you hit a rut? When you started losing weight, what was it that motivated you to keep going?

What do you snack on when you need a little something between meals?

Summer heat always hurts my motivation. We don't have central A/C, so it gets warm in my house, I need to just get to the gym, and at least work out with a bit of cool air :)

My best friend and I decided the best way to help our motivation is to plan a trip. So, we are going for 4 days to Panama City in Sept. That should be a good push to help me lose weight :)

Hopefully you can get back into the routine of things. I sometimes think it's the warmer weather.

Some of the things I snack on are: Sugar Free Fat Free Jell-o Pudding (1 point) or the Rice Pudding (2 points), Fiber One Strawberry Yogurt (1 point), Fiber One Bars (2 or 3 points depending on the flavor), GNU Fiber Bars (I believe these are 2 points)...other than that it's usually fruit. I'm not a veggie person so I rarely ever snack on it!

Sorry, I missed this last week. Life's been total crazy for me! I'll plan on being here this Friday! Hmmmmm, some of the things I like to snack on:

1 pt WW cookies. DELICIOUS
Fiber One Bars (2 or 3 points)
Apple slices (0 to 1 pt depending on how many)
Baked Chips (pts depend on how many you eat)
100 calorie packs of tons of different stuff
LOVE the 4 pt Quesadilla's by Smart Ones! Great lunch or dinner!
fruit
water
v-8 splash
WW 1 pt cheese
WW muffins
Leftovers from recipes I've made
I like to snack :)
