If they can do it, I can do it

I was so inspired by The Biggest Loser last night. They all (well, except one) ran a half marathon. Just out of nowhere they were told to do it. And they did. Seriously, if they can do it so can I! When running gets hard I have to remember them running. They all weigh more than me and they did it, my weight is no excuse.

In a related note, I ran 4.25 miles today. That's my longest run so far this year. :)

OMG, those were my exact thoughts! If they can do it, I can do it. And we will!

Congrats on your run today. That's great.

yeah, i agree that was very encouraging to me too! i just wish i could lose 10 lbs in one week...actually I would be thrilled to lose 10 lbs in a month or two!

I hear ya...It took me about 2 months to lose 10 pounds and that was after 5 months of pretty much not losing. I'm kind of stuck right now and haven't lost for about a week. Sigh...

I'm hoping for another long run tomorrow followed by some weights at the gym.

I agree, it was very inspiring! And you! Running 4.25 miles, WTG Natalie!!

I'd taken a few months off and am now just starting to get back into the habit. I hit 2 miles today, so still a long ways to go.

Question for, one that I've been debating. *If* you were to get pregnant during your training, would you stop running? Or do you think you've been doing it long enough it wouldn't have an impact on the baby?

No, I'm not pregnant, but if it happened, I'm not sure what I would do. I could use some feedback from a fellow runner.:)
